Photogrammetrist
Location: Herndon or Springfield
Senior-Level (12 to 18 years experience)
Overview and Deliverables: Senior Photogrammetrists provide timely and accurate mensuration services to support national intelligence missions. Types of imagery that can be photogrametrically exploited include spacebased NTM and commercial, FMV, hand-held photographs, and video.
Duties may include:
- Dimensional mensuration of complex objects, distances, heights, depths, stereo line-of-sight, dish and antenna mensuration, mensuration uncertainty analysis, speed/velocity analysis.
- Dish antenna to satellite analysis - STK reports
- Stereo micro-DEM extraction to support volumetric spoil pile and overburden analysis
- Motion imagery (video) enhancement
- Special collections planning
- Photogrammetric verification & validation for newly launched NTM systems
- Research and Development
- Types of analysis:
o Line-of-site
o Terrain
o Mensuration derived Computer Aided Design
o Speed/Velocity Calculations - Assessments/validation
Skill/Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Photogrammetry, Imagery Science, or equivalent STEM degree.
- Senior level experience in Photogrammetry analysis and/or/ photogrammetry principles.
- Previous IC or DoD program/project experience.
Desired Skills:
- Master’s degree or higher in Photogrammetry, Imagery Science, or equivalent STEM degree.
- Demonstrated experience in government or industry, within photogrammetry analysis.
- GEOINT Professional Certification Fundamentals Level I (GPC F-I)
- GEOINT Imagery Science Certification Level II (GPC IS-II)
- Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project experience
Clearance: Candidates need to be TS/SCI-cleared with polygraph.
