Intelligence Assessment Analyst

Location: McLean, VA

Senior-Level (12 to 18 years experience)

Overview: The team seeks a highly motivated Intelligence Assessment Analyst (Senior Level) to join our team to provide the following expert support to an Intelligence Community (IC) client:

  • Draft expert quantitative and qualitative analytic assessments across collection reporting, analytic production, and intelligence requirements
  • Develop advanced analytic methods to assess the IC’s state of collection, analysis, posture, and progress against intelligence information needs
  • Provide support, reviews, analysis, and feedback on evaluation related issues
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of databases and automated tools to manage the compilation, analysis, and communication of national intelligence priorities
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of databases and automatic cools to extract, analyze, and visualize data from various IC databases in support of assessments of IC performance in analysis and collection
  • Recommend innovative solutions to data extraction, storage, search and analysis challenges based on best practices from industry and the IC

Skill Requirements:

  • Experience drafting clear and concise products describing complex data and analysis;
  • Experience in generating reports, charts, and plots of distributions and trends, descriptive statistics, and complex statistical analysis;
  • Experience in working effectively in analytic teams;
  • Experience developing custom scripts, queries, or visualizations to support analysis of IC data;
  • Understanding of descriptive statistics, regression, and classification models;
  • Experience conducting data extraction, parsing, manipulation, and analysis of larger volumes of data from various IC databases;
  • Experience designing IC solutions based on user requirements;
  • Knowledge of IC cloud services.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in drafting evaluation reports, using enterprise integration, and metrics;
  • Substantial demonstrated experience applying quantitative and qualitative analytic methods, including the design, development, and management of statistical models and enterprise-wide evaluations;
  • Knowledge of intelligence priority topics and the supporting intelligence information needs;
  • Experience with natural language processing tools and techniques.

Education/Experience Requirements:

Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree OR 4 years of equivalent work experience AND 5 additional years of relevant work experience AND 2+ years of work experience within the Intelligence Community
