Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance

Full-time employees are eligible to enroll in ASG’s medical, dental, and vision plans.

  • ASG offers three tiers of coverage under Anthem’s Blue Cross Blue Shield Medical (PPO) Plan with varying deductible, co-pay, co-insurance, and out-of-pocket maximum amounts.
  • Under the a high-deductible medical plan, employees are also be eligible to set up and contribute pre-tax wages to a Health Savings Account (HSA).
  • Dental coverage is offered under Delta Dental. This plan covers preventative, basic, and major procedures.
  • ASG also offers a vision plan with the VSP network of providers. The plan covers exams, glasses, lenses, frames, and contact lenses.

ASG contributes 75% of plan premiums up to $1,200 per month. Medical plan costs depend on the options chosen. Employees may opt to have costs withheld on a pre-tax basis.

401(k)

ASG sponsors a 401(k) retirement plan.

  • ASG makes a 3% Safe Harbor contribution each pay period
  • ASG may make additional discretionary or profit-sharing contributions to participant accounts. Participants are eligible to receive an allocation if they have completed at least 1,000 hours of service during the Plan Year and are employed by the Company on the last day of the Plan Year.
  • Employees can make either pre-tax or post-tax contributions via payroll deduction
  • Employer contributions vest immediately

This option allows employees to pay benefits premiums on a pre-tax basis


Flexible Spending Accounts

Make pre-tax contributions to an FSA for any of the following uses:

  • Healthcare FSA ($2,750 limit, with $500/year carryover allowed)
  • Dependent Care FSA ($5,000 limit)
  • NESP (Non-Employer Sponsored Premium) (No limit)
  • Transit FSA ($265/month limit)
  • Parking FSA ($265/month limit)

Long Term and Short Term Disability Insurance (LTD/STD)

Full-time employees receive Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance through Sun Life.

  • This coverage is 100% employer paid
  • STD coverage provides 60% of base salary, or up to $2,000 weekly
  • LTD coverage provides 60% of base salary (up to $7,500 monthly) after a 90-day exclusion period

Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance

Full-time employees receive Basic Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance through Sun Life.

  • This coverage is 100% employer paid
  • Covered benefit amount is $50,000 (Benefits are reduced to 67% at age 65, and to 50% at age 70)

Leave and Paid Time Off

In addition to observing ten flexible holidays every year, ASG provides all full-time employees with paid time off.

  • Vacation and sick leave are combined in a single leave account; full-time employees earn 160 hours of leave annually (approximately 6.67 hours per pay period)
  • Additional paid leave is available for bereavement and jury duty
